    I am planning to start a new blog. It will be a personal one, where I would share my views on day to day things happening around me.

    I am looking for some free attractive and eye pleasing blog themes (blogger/WP). Pls suggest.

    You can also mention the ones you like so that I can have a look at it as well.

    I will recommend to use Genesis Framework by Studiopress which is one of the most cleanly coded framework. You will find 100s of child theme in the store. You can setup a highly attractive site in few hours.

    I will definitely suggest Thesis theme if you are using Wordpress. Moreover I also like the interface of magazine3 and magnovus themes if you are looking magazine styled theme for blogging. For Blogger/Blogspot, I do not have any specific idea but Wordpress is the best CMS out there.

    And, what is your blog about? For instance, is your blog business related, such as for internet marketing? If so, you'll want to have a business themed blog, with subdued or muted (professional) colors, rather than one that is pastel. It would help to know the subjects that will be blogged about. That would be a big help when identifying the right blog theme you might want to use.
