banned advertising on yahoo

    So I was advertising in yahoo and got banned! I wasn't even that spammy I would answer the question and then post my youtube chanell and say that I have more info there. How can i advertise on yahoo and not get banned?

    The Answers TOS has never allowed advertising or promotion. It's been this way since Answers started. Reading the rules and their terms would answer this question.

    Exact same thing happened to me. I had a really long answer which was rich in information with a link to Wikipedia so it wasn't even my own site. I figured it was a glitch or something on YA part but since joining DP I have met a few people now whom the same thing happened to. Its complete BS!..luckily I have multiple accounts..mwahaha;)

    If you're referring to YA, yes. You have to be careful what you use as reference. If it even seems even remotely like spam, you can get your account banned for good. Be careful. You'd be better off setting up PPC campaigns for certain promotions.

    Agreed. you need to take your time reading the TOS because it's gonna make or break your campaigns. I know not much people really read the terms but it this sort of mistake that would catch up to you in the long run.
