My fav option after Google is the less known but really powerful DuckDuckGo search engine.
Although not comparable to G it has a lot of useful tools and advantages like privacy..

I seldom use anything other than google. I really don't see the need for it. I can't think of an example when something I needed I couldn't find on google immediately.
However, while at University I would double my searches on both google and Yahoo, and sometimes the results were slightly different, giving me additional sources for my essays.

Since graduation, though, I don't think I've used Yahoo for anything other than my flickr account.

For me the yahoo search results show big changes while google, bing etc show somewhat same results.
Also the zero-click info option using which we get instant answers for our queries is absent in Yahoo i think. In that case DuckDuckGo is a much better option for zero-click info

I think Yahoo is a good choice, but I guess I will never know as I always use Google Search engine. I can't even remember when was the last time I used something different like Yahoo. It was only for checking if my website appears in search results there.

Yahoo is the next best search engine.
Ask.com is just worthless to me!

I tend to use Bing because I use MS explorer a lot fro some things that do not require the use of Firefox or Google chrome.
i also advertise on Bing and the naturally when I want to do more research on a keyword the search is done in Bing.

I sometimes use Icerocket especially when I am looking for something more obscure. The main advantage is that it allows you to search Twitter and Facebook separately and also throws up some interesting things in its blog search. Typing the same terms into Google usually gives a load of You tube videos and often commercial links to the likes of Ebay if its a product.
Google remains No 1 for me but IR is a good second choice

All search engines have their advantages and disadvantages. Bing is awesome for specialized searching and Yahoo seems to have a good source of news. Although, many search engines have similar websites indexed in them.

Yahoo is the second best search engine after google. Third is Bing. But I prefer Bing rather than yahoo, it has a better design and they have made some type of pointing system when you take actions where you get discounts gift cards and other bonuses. But of course I still use most oftenly 99% google.
