On sideservers.com i create my proxy for almost free

 

I wonder what else aside from "proxy" does proxy user searches.

 

I have visited your site 4-5 times. I left every time wondering what I am supposed to do, how I can submit my proxy etc. Please make it more user friendly. Place a BIG button saying "CLICK HERE to submit" etc etc, so that people can know what to do. People do not read on the web.

 

Are you talking about the main website or the search engine?

I could easily list here a couple of hundreds of search terms but i believe we will go out of the topic

 

I clicked on Services -> Proxy lists and I go to this : http://www.proxynoid.com/services/proxy-lists/

So? Where is the big button/link that says CLICK HERE TO BUY? I went to this page several times and I still do not know what I am suppose to do to spend my money on the site. I am into web design, I spend days and weeks on efficient design and improving user experience for every site I undertake. And this site just lets me wondering.

Thanks bobpit for your feedback, i see your point on that.

The thing is that in order for someone to buy credits has to be a member first. Maybe would be easier and more helpful if I add some info or a tutorial about that.

This would be an improvement. But still it is a bad design.

You think people will come to your site and spend more than 5 seconds in order to read all your tutorials before they decide to click away? The majority will not. You have to make it obvious and intuitive.

 

That's true, but the site is not for the "majority". It's about proxy owners and only.
But then again you have a point, the 5 secs "rule" is important and I will definitely give some more emphasis on it and improve it.

 

Proxy sites will all ways make money, not loads but what i call a trickle income, ive had some running for 4 years now and each one makes around 12$ a mth ive got 8 of them so that's Almost 100$ per mth so in the 4 years they have been up ive made around 4500$ out of them, and these figures are just the pre proxy pages with adsense.

And other than upload them 4 years ago, and occasionaly change the theme ive done nothing to them.

 

Yes, these are the figures that I see from my proxy too.

 

Let me ask you:

1) Do you host them in one vps or 8 vps? Because 12 usd per proxy, per vps is not much to cover the costs.
2) If you had concentrated your efforts promoting just one proxy/domain, would you be able to make this 100 usd per month? Why did you need 8 domains?

 

They are all on a dedicated server.
I have other things on the server that cover costs so that's not an issue, its just a little income for doing not much at all.

With regardes your the promoting, i suspect yeah if i spent some time or even money i could up my earnings by quite a lot.
And back a few years ago and to some extent now, it seemed the thing to do was create a "proxy ring" with several url's

I had a PM from tom11011 trying to sell me an ebook on promoting proxies, i also note that SKULL has a forum to help proxy users ive had dealings with SKULL and he is a top bloke and trust worthy as is ROCKSFAN again ive had dealings with him also.

Both SKULL and ROCKSFAN would be a good font of knowledge for you im sure, TOM110011 i dont know but scanning his posts he seems to be doing ok via proxy sites.
