Park domain pointing.

    Hi,

    I just purchased a url from other domain bank. The problem is I can't figure out how to point that domain to other web hosting.

    i bought the domain from onlydomains and i got a web hosting account on godaddy. I already changed the dns of godaddy to onlydomains dns but no luck. it says that the domain is parked and does working right.

    Hoping for your kind help guys.

    Well, you are using GoDaddy for something they are not good at and another company for something GoDaddy is good at. Smart move.

    You will need to use GoDaddy's name servers. It might take up to 72 hours for DNS to propagate correctly. Once it has, you should then (assuming you set up the domain correctly on your hosting) be taken to the right place.

    You need to edit zone file and point ip address to your website. Contact support at Godaddy they are very Helpful.
