    Will posting links within good quality content (none spam) always we a good way to improve rank and traffic? I know google just mentioned they want to stop spam content posts. But what about good quality content and none-spun content? This will always work or not?

    Guest posts may not have much of an affect on SEO, if any. But well placed backlinks can still be a good way to get traffic.

    I use posting links as a way to gain traffic more so than for SEO purposes. I agree. When done naturally, they do have some benefit.

    "Real" guest posting will continue and be very effective.

    By that I mean, actually reaching out to sites in your niche that are not actively offering guest posts and persuading them to let you write a guest post.

    Networks of sites that are set up solely for guest posts and sites that are just filled with heaps and heaps of guest posts are probably not going to be very effective moving forward.

    Look for a site in your niche that is good and guest post, it will add juice to you. Guest posting is one of the most effective way of driving high quality, relevant traffic to your site.
