The following is the plugins you may want to use in your blog :

1.If you want to make money at amazon, you can use this plugin:
    Amazon Affiliate Link Localizer Plugin
This plugin not only automatically changes any Amazon link on your site to use your affiliate ID, but it also changes the link to point to the user's local Amazon store.

So if your visitor is visiting from the UK they'll get a link to Amazon.co.uk, if they're visiting from the US they'll get a link to the same product on Amazon.com.

2.Google XML Sitemaps Plugin (most people may already know it)

    3.
W3 Total Cachegood for high traffic websites

    4.
    SEO Friendly Images

SEO Friendly Images is a WordPress SEO plugin which automatically updates all images with proper ALT and TITLE attributes for SEO purposes. If your images do not have ALT and TITLE already set, SEO Friendly Images will add them according the options you set. Additionally this makes the post W3C/xHTML valid as well.

    5.
    WPtouch Mobile Plugin
WPtouch is a mobile plugin for WordPress that automatically enables a simple and elegant mobile theme for mobile visitors of your WordPress website.

    6.
Yet Another Related Posts Plugin (YARPP)
This is the best related post plugin

The above 6 plugins is my favorite , hope will good for you.

W3 Total Cache is good plugin, recommended from hostgator. but I am more happy without using this plugin to speed performance website. just using quick service from actuals.info is better good for SEO ON PAGE service

I would add the WP Editorial Calendar and Missed Schedule plugins as well, for sites where I'm creating content.

If I run a news feed or any other kind of automated post creation (posts from RSS, FeedWordPress or whatever), I also add my own plugin - TIEtools - to do automatic maintenance and stop blog bloat.

On top of those, I frequently install things like an automatic featured images plugin to make sure I don't have to mess around with that, the Media Tools just in case I need them and Google Analyticator for stats tracking.

The plugin I make most use of is Simple Custom CSS. As I don't know how to set up a child theme, I use this plugin when I make changes to the appearance of my blog without touching the CSS file. I used to change the settings in the CSS file but when I upgraded the theme it would go back to the default settings.

Umm, that's built in now, isn't it? Appearance -> Edit CSS. It's stored separately precisely for this reason.

You only need that if you use shifty freebies that haven't gone through the WP filter (i.e. off dodgy sites). :)

Make sure you check out a few of these WordPress plugins for security.
Better WP Security, Bullet Proof Security, Word Fence Security and Acunetix. WordPress can be a mecca for hackers so make sure you shore up your defenses and regularly update to newer versions.

Yes. I've been hacked once before. Just installed WordFence, thanks for that.

My bad - it's in Jetpack, which I always install for the sharing and stats, so I assumed it was standard.

That SEO Friendly image plugin sounds useful. I have to check out the rest of these. They appear very useful.

Make sure you have a secured wordpress site by using wordfence plugin, it's free.

If you hate blog spam, use wp spamfree plugin.

I personally love Spyder Spanker. Keep web traffic (robots) away that you don't want or need. Has saved me a few time!

I have only had problems using W3 Cache...
Not only was it slowing the site down, it was
causing db errors....so check your error logs
and make sure this thing runs as designed....
I have switched to another cache, and have
    not had any problems since....
