Best topic/subject area for a new forum?

    What would be the best topic or subject on which to start a new forum these days?
    (A subject area that can accommodate growth on an on-going basis?)

    And, I would like to use a .tv domain for the forum as there may be a TV channel following the establishment/growth of the forum - or should the domain be a .com?

    a forum of which you know something about would be best for you, but if youre not knowledgable about much general forums you cant lose with

    .com more people woud like to see, .tv youre only going to lose potential members

    There is no "best" area for starting a forum, find a niche that you are actually passionate about, don't start a forum merely because someone else said it's the "best".
