CTR= Total number of impressions "Divided by" Total number of clicks Impressions means presence of your site in the search engine page in which users are looking for some searched term/s.
Hello, CTR is acronyms for Click Through Rate; in elaborate terms it is the percentage of total no. of click which you have receive from your ads out of your ad impressions. If you have no. of impression on your as but there is no single click then you have less amount of CTR. Thank you.
The second part of your question is interesting to consider. There may actually be only a very weak correlation between CTR and SEO. CTR is only happening once the visitor is at your site, so it is independent from what actually got them there. In other words, they are on your site due to SEO, but now that does not matter as far as whether they actually click an ad. The factors that will make them click include whether your site involves a product or service that people are looking for and will click an ad to, the authority and trustworthiness of your site that you pass along to your ads, and the quality of your content that leads people to be better informed and ready to click an ad. Of course much of that does also positively affect SEO as well, but the link between the two is not direct.
I think @jacal1 has the right idea. The explanation you give explains why you can't just use random words to attraction people's attention. Your ads and your site pages all need to be keyword-targeted so you have the best success with your online marketing campaigns.
Click through Rate is called CRT. It is calculated total number of impressions in your site and total number of clicks on advertisement.
CTR stands for click through ratio as in how many people clicked an ad out of all the people that visited your site.
