If you look at your favorite ad networks...what makes them great? What makes the best ad network? What makes a network you want to try? what makes you trust them when trying them?

    Some more factors and questions:

What is more important, support or earnings?
    Intrusive / Un-intrusive ads?
    24 hour support?
No malware attacks and redirects? (Ad Quality).
Is Ad Quality and Stability more important than earnings?
Is anything more important than earnings?
Ease of use on their reporting?
Their company web site? what factors effect your judgement to join/continue using them?
Does fill rate matter to you?

Overall. What makes up the perfect network for you?

The publisher and advertiser(many better and bigger ones) will like to get the best of everything!

What is more important, support or earnings?
    -> Both!
    Intrusive / Un-intrusive ads?
-> Un-intrusive ads, since Intrusive ads will be too annoying for most of the visitors, hence decreased no of visitors.
    24 hour support?
-> Not actually, but a quicker and valuable response will be great!
No malware attacks and redirects? (Ad Quality).
-> No malware attacks at all bad reputation for all, advertiser, publisher and you as well!
Is Ad Quality and Stability more important than earnings?
-> Hopefully yes to most but not too less earning.
Is anything more important than earnings?
-> fillrate, quality of ads, more relevant ads, not annoying to visitors, payout time, easy to manage.
Ease of use on their reporting?
    ->
Their company web site? what factors effect your judgement to join/continue using them?
-> For publishers (Earnings, fillrate, quality of ads, more relevant ads, not annoying to visitors, payout time, easy to manage.)
For advertisers (Quality of visitors, expenditure, types of publishers, support etc....)
Does fill rate matter to you?
    -> Hope yes to most!

    Hope it will help! :)

Bitcoin and similar eCoins are buzzwords but they are very volatile/ unstable...

So Paypal and it's alternate would be a nice choice as always! You can opt for bitcoin if there is any demand with proper care..

What about pay cards? I know a few networks which back in the day used to provide these pay cards (media shakers did) it was pretty much a Prepaid debit card which they reloaded every month.

What other paypal alternatives do others use? Any preferences?

    Alternates:-
    Payza
    Skrill
    Webmoney, etc

    Just google for the list...

What is more important, support or earnings?
    >> Earnings as we don't really need support everyday.

    Intrusive / Un-intrusive ads?
    >> Un-intrusive

    24 hour support?
    >> Mail support is okay. Chat support can be confusing sometimes.

No malware attacks and redirects? (Ad Quality).
    >> Ofcourse. If our site is detected with malware or any such thing, it will be penalized.

Is Ad Quality and Stability more important than earnings?
    >> Okay

Is anything more important than earnings?
    >> Trustworthiness, and they should be consistent in whatever they deliver.

Ease of use on their reporting?
    >> ... didn't get that actually.

Their company web site? what factors effect your judgement to join/continue using them?
    >> A good look does matter, however i believe in reviews rather than just look. Intuitive UI should be good to go.

Does fill rate matter to you?
    >> Having Awesome eCPM rate with 10% fill rate is a BIG turn off. Every impression should be monetized with any lowest possible ad.

Hey, I think the most important factor is reliability. Support is also very important. You want to work with company whom you can trust. Cuz - "How much you earned?" matters less than, "How much?" were transferred on to your account. It's so many scammers on the market today!

I support Ant0ni post. And reliability and trust didn't grew in some months. To trust a network we have to work few years. As I am using Adsense from few years and quite satisfied. Some other networks are willing to give more but, we have to be careful about their fraud.

There is no reason for you not to be satisfy, since you using best available, though you don't need wait months or years to build trust, they treat everyone equally and well established and well trusted, I would count, edomz, infolinks, clicksor, chitika in well established and trusted network so far.

I would absolutely not put clicksor on that list. There are reasons for people to not be satisfied especially with that network. Things happen. Everyone wants to make the most money and in most cases people have expectations held far too high so naturally they are unsatisfied. Its the role and job of the network (if they provide proper support) to do their best to meet the expectations - or better establish them when taking in new publishers.

As all of you have said about Trustworthiness... is it fair to say that comes with support and history?

Hey, among others I also can recommend Fidelity Media, they are definitely reliable. Support works fine, terms are good.
