    Even bots can send refferral traffic along side with many traffic exchanges, its not going to help you in anway. In fact it is probably bad for your adsense or other sort of monetization.

    This is not about bots though. They send you real targeted user traffic. One of my list was featured on the front page and I received over 10k visitors just from ranker.com this month. It really depends on the site that is linking back to you too.

    The best way would be simply building links, and getting traffic. Later your google ranks will start to increase.
