I enjoy crime mystery type novels. Patricia Cornwell is one of my favorite authors.

Bible. Read it cover to cover. You will never be the same...for the better. Trust me. There is a reason this is the most popular, most read, and printed book in Human history. Even if youre not religious....check it out.

I enjoy reading academic-based books surrounding studies in the field of Mental Health, specifically observing how society changes over time in what it considers to be adaptive or maladaptive behavior. I also enjoy reading books based around Philosophy, or written by actual popular philosophers themselves. William

Thank you, I absolutely will. I enjoy reading his quotes, but am very interested in locating and reading anything else he may have published. Specifically, I have come across his theory of metaphysics in some of my coursework in the past, which I've found extremely fascinating and eye-opening.

You can buy his complete works which is what I read. Absolutely amazing the mindset and thinking he had at that time in history. He was like born 1,000 years too early in my opinion. People must have thought him a lunatic in ancient Greece. Lol!

In my opinion, there's much irony to be appreciated in which takes place through the motivational and philosophical mindsets of individuals throughout history, specifically pertaining to today's world event's, and society's developmental changes, hardships, and realities.

I could appreciate the irony more I think if it didn't usually end in the persecution of the world changing individual who brings forth the new idea. If it wasn't so sad it would be kind of funny, but through all of history the people with great minds and radical ideas were usually put to death and/or persecuted for those ideas. Radical ideas and change are usually resisted from the population at large with radical violence and ignorance. Socrates, Jesus, Galileo, etc. etc. etc.

Change is scary for groups of people thinking as one I suppose.... :(

The group-think process can go either way, and sometimes it can be very dangerous. In my opinion, radical Muslims, or terrorists, such as Al-Qaeda are a good example of this. Sometimes, it's because of group-think that people look the other way when one is in danger or for example being assaulted--and just count on other's to stand up for what's morally or ethically just'.

Well said my friend. Couldn't agree more. Also, Al-Qaeda's biggest advantage though IMO is lack of hope. The people they recruit are living in absolutely horrid conditions without any hope of improvement or joy. Flying a plane into a building hoping to go to paradise is literally a better alternative. Sad but true.

That's a really good point Titus. Sadly, the common target for terrorists or dictators are those whom are most vulnerable to life. Whether or not they are desiring being a part of something greater than themselves for common, logical, or even mentally ill-based reasons.. all the way to those whom simply perhaps just have hit rock-bottom, and feel they can no longer provide for themselves or their families to keep them alive, and are desperate enough to practically do anything to change that. It's amazing how common now a days it is for our society to sell or trade off their morals or ethics for the almighty' dollar.

Same here! Food, nutrition and health are my passion and I finally started my blog all about it! Alot of books I've read on the topic helped me with the knowledge I have today that I use to create my recipes and such.
