jquery nav help

    Hi, i'm a student and I'm learning how to do different things in HTML, CSS and JQuery.
    I came across a navigation that I really liked so I have some code mimicking the style. However in the original nav I see that once you click on the link it replaces the link of the corresponding page you selected.

    How can you make that happen in jquery and also how can you make the background div increase and decrease as the drop down menu is activated.

    Not entirely sure I understand what you mean by "replaces" - are you talking about the color changes? What link is being replaced?

    Besides - most of the menu and the effects can be done using CSS alone - only the delays and slide-effects and such might need some js.
