    Yikes - Do you know of any places that offer cheaper (but not cheap) backlink services that aren't just a free submitter? I think there is a market out there for those offering more than fiverr options, but less than $500?

    The price I gave you is a monthly price. And the main difference between white hat and black hat is that White Hat will is good for long term ranking, it's takes longer to reach the top but you are guaranteed to stay there unless some wacko change in googles updates. And BlackHat is great for fast ranking, you reach the top pretty quickly but there is no telling how long you will stay there.
