Unable to select ad type?

I created a geo targeted banner ad to display on DP Forum only. And I got the notification that "Your Ads Were Reviewed" and is asking me to fund the account.

But, what if I want to show ONLY banner ad and NO text link ads? I can't see that option anywhere. I had to enter text ad details as well but I cant see banners only option.

    Is that not available?

    Help?

Just make sure you upload all image sizes requested on the edit/create ad page. It will tell you what sizes are needed, and if you don't upload all the possible sizes, it will fall back to text-based banners when those sizes are needed.

Yes, I was able to upload one banner - 468 x 6 - and it's showing there. But I want to know if there is any way to disable the text ad. I want to show only the image ads and not the text ads.

Not a way other than uploading all requested sizes there.

    Hi,

    I think I got it...

I see that "If you don't supply an image for all sizes supported by this site, your banner ad will display as a text-based banner when the missing size is used."

So it means the first priority is always image ad and you will show the text ad ONLY if I didn't upload the banner ad for that ad size. Right?

    Hi,

    I've another query:

I funded my account but noticed that the minimum payment was $25. I am advertising only on DP Forum so if I didnt get any results then can I ask the refund of unused ad credit?

Generally advertising is non-refundable. If you have some sort of good reason, then it might be possible, but generally, no.

    Hi,

It appears like DP Ads is not as effective as AdWords... So I've paused my campaign. Can you please refund the used credit back to my PayPal? I think I used < $2 or so.

Can you please update or give me the link to request the refund/cancellation (I'm unable to find any support email/link)?

Okay! But you know what... you SHOULD at least disclose that YOU WONT refund the money...

In your Digital Point Ads Terms Of Use it says:

"If you choose to discontinue use of Digital Point Ads for any particular site, you agree to refund any/all unused ad credit to all advertisers with credits remaining and you will remove Digital Point Ads code from your website(s)."

So if you're not willing to refund then how can others expect refund from publishers???

If we discontinued using Digital Pount Ads would mean that advertisers couldn't run their ads. Of course all unused credit would be refunded since advertisers could no longer run their ads.

Yes, in that case unused credis will be refunded, right? That's the only thing I asked... If your advertiser is not satisfied then you're supposed to refund, right? Especially when nothing is mentioned like that... I realized the minimum deposit only when I decided to sign up... but I thought you will refund unused credit if I am not comfortable with DP Ads.... 'coz most ad networks do that unless they gave some sign up bonus or something like that...

Yes, if we stop using Digital Point Ads as a publisher, then it would be impossible for advertisers to run any ads, and unused credit would be refunded of course.
