    You can check with ebay and amazon product listing. This is not free but will give your benefit in less money. (Some monthly fee of so)

    Apart from that, you ca start SEO of the website and try to get backlinks from niche related websites which will give your website a good ranking in gogole search (organic).

    About product listings, the more the better. I know that not all products 'sell' well on internet, but Social Media, emails, blogs and business review portals definitely increase your product 'reach'. And SEO, you can't keep it out of bag of tricks.

    marketing using blogging is very effective, as long as you can find a way to drive traffic to your blog. Keep in mind that this traffic should be your target audience not just random traffic. The random traffic rarely is ever, makes any purchase because they are just browsing.

    Start a blog on a sub-domain.
    Write about products with humor.
    Write with passion.
    Add customer reviews.
    Be honest.
    Offer opportunities to sign up - newsletter etc.

    I always say this, but using humor on ancillary pages (such as a blog) does remarkable things. People engage with funny content, they share it and promote it for you. If you write something unusual about a product and make them laugh, offer sharing buttons in obvious places and give them the chance to be involved, you can see a post or page spreading through Facebook like an STD on a college campus.

    Far too many people forget to work on building a following. It's not all about striving for that number one spot on Google. Take the time to engage the visitor, intrigue them, make them want to come back to you, all the rest will naturally follow once you have the content to interest readers and shoppers.

    Of course, social media in general is important for product marketing, depending in a pretty big way on your niche and audience.

    The biggest thing is to not use the default product description. For one, Google sees it as duplicate content. Also, product descriptions written by the manufacturers tend to be poorly written and overly cliched. If you have any copywriting experience at all You can probably write a better, more insightful product description.

    This is totally true. It doesn't take a master's in creative writing to come up with something neat and original. You've got a personality...so show it! Product descriptions are a great place to get creative and really SELL your products. You know...so you can sell your products! (Get it?)

    And hey -- we're not all creative types. Which is good, because the Internet makes it real nice and easy to find an affordable freelancer who can carve out a few lines about your products at a pretty decent rate.

    Also, seriously? This guy REALLY hit the nail on the head. Content is king. That catch phrase is as annoying as it is crazy true. If you can write with authority in a way that entertains and informs your potential audience, you'll absolutely crush it. Of course, this means writing about the things your customers want to read about -- not necessarily about your store and/or your inventory all the time. But if you can create and curate some awesome content, you'll be harnessing one of the most cost-effective kinds of online marketing there is.
