Hi, What's your best marketing strategy currently? EXCEPT: YouTube... I reckon a good mix of guest articles and social media bookmarking, as well as spreading viral Facebook images is the backbone of my current marketing/SEO strategy. What's yours? What do you find more important, guest articles or social media?
Mine is twitter and forum posting. I really want to start guest writing but haven't really found any site to guest blog for. New content is the best I guess. Online tutorials and then google does the rest. I think for the past week my google search results have gone up from 230 to 340 today. I guess I'm doing something right. But my earning is still not really good. Only earned about £1 for adsense from the past month.
I notice you've only mentioned free marketing strategies, which can be just as effective (if not better than paid marketing campaigns). Unfortunately, I'm not creative enough for that - so I have to pay for it! In that respect, I'd say my best marketing strategy is: PPC Ads (Adwords mostly) with effective landing pages Boring eh?
Nowadays my strategy marketing is using social media, such as facebook, twitter, pinterest and tumblr. I create an auto-post script to each platform, so everytime i post on my site, it will auto-post to each social media that i already mention. And it seems work good for me right now, a lot of my visitor is from pinterest (FYI my website is wallpapers website) Anyways - the bigger / larger your content it mean the bigger index on Google, and it will increase your visitor too..
Not boring, just that nowadays it's hard to make it work for less-lucrative niches. Reaching good ROI is harder with PPC than ever. And, people are becoming less responsive to ads... including PPC ads.
What do you use Tumblr for? If you use Facebook and Twitter, what can Tumblr do more? As for Pinterest: you're spreading imagery, right?
True, but news of great content needs to propagate and people must be able to find it. Otherwise it stays there "dead".
Tumblr same with pinterest, i'm spreading image from both of this site .. i also do this with facebook. Facebook had an API to do auto-post when our site generate new content, and our facebook page can be linked into twitter.. For pinterest and tumblr, i put social button on my site, so people can share the images on their tumblr or pinterest..
