Customised Facebook event URLs

    I've seen some people have managed to edit their event links on Facebook so that they don't look so messy. For example, rather than writing "https://www.facebook.com/events/258643797616794/" which looks messy and unprofessional, they can customise or rename the link to look more professional. The custom link still redirects to the same page.

    Does anyone know how to do this that may be able to help me? I'm sure there must be a low-cost/free way of doing this short of buying domain space so I'm keen to find out how.

    There is no option to customize URLs in Facebook Events. You can select username only in Profile and Fan Page.

    I always post the short links. Try bitly.com, its really easy fast and free !! You just copie paste the link and it gives you the short link! ;)
