Is it Possible to get Page Rank without any Backlinks ?

Discussion in 'Link Development' started by Alora Ram, Oct 10, 2013.

    Hi,

I have a doubt about Google page ranking method. I analyzed a competitor website during my SEO process. There is a website with sub domain from webstarts. That site has page rank 1. I tried to find the back links but Google has not index any back links for that site. Is it possible to get Page Ranks without any back links?

Yes it is just harder, takes longer, and you need good keyword based content, your best bet is to pay someone for quality backlinks.

Google actually will not be updating their PageRank this year, so you will not notice a thing even if you do build backlinks.

yes other lot more option to increase traffic to your website and increases the page rank of it's.
the one and most impotent option is keyword research. if you search unique and public searched keyword then definitely you get high page rank...........................................................................

What an absolute load of nonsense. The PR of a page has NOTHING to do with traffic!

I have few Facebook pages that have page rank #1 or #2. There is no backlinks. Because the pages regularly updated.

Pagerank is calculated based on incoming links, that's it (period). So I am thinking the reason why it has PR1 is maybe it has a link from the domain to the sub domain (not sure if I said it right) OR it used to have some backlinks which were deleted and since it has been a while that google didn't update the Pagerank toolbar so it's still showing PR1.
And to people who thinks that maybe traffic, unique hq article or regular post of new articles would increase pagerank is bs.

PageRank is a measure of the importance of a page, and it is like a popularity contest, in that it takes into account links, which are considered votes. Google has not update PR since February of this year, so many sites have moved up or down in PR, but Google does not show that. You could use Moz's Open Site Explorer to measure Page authority (PA) or Domain Authority(DA). The site you are looking at, if it is a sub-domain, may get a link from the root domain. You can use a tool like AHREFs to identify the major backlinks. But not all backlinks show up, and Google does not reveal what backlinks the bots have found to determine PR.

The most likely scenario is that a link to the site has been removed and Google hasn't caught up with it yet. Whether they will depends on whether or not they will continue with PR, or prefer DA and PA etc

    no backlinks - no PageRank
It is possible that the method you used to check site backlinks is not effective
Perhaps you should try any free backlink tool out of the ones available.
Or it could be that the site blocked third-party backlink tools from their site, and there is no stats on them.
Or it could be that, because toolbar PR hasn't been updated for ages, their actually PR is now 0.
The truth is somewhere in between..

yes you can ...but on way of making your site to that level ...people will start creating backlinks automatically..
suppose you make blog on fashion ,...you post content on daily basis ..you content will start ranking who knows someone might copy it and post backlink of your site...

Create an excellent and high-quality content and not a link. Those two are different thing as we all know. You have to create something very different from common keyword to market your website and make more even popular on your community.

yes, but it is too hard to get some ranking in google.
your site's content should be some thing extra ordinary for google's eye.
