    They may send out an automated 'Welcome to Adsense' email when you register, whether approved or not.

    Contact them and find out or wait for a couple of days.

    This is perfectly normal, if you read up on the adsense website it tells you this is the case. Every new application now gets that message, they started this two stage approval months, maybe even a year or more ago. Don't worry about it, provided your site complies that is.
