I Need Some Advice

I need some advice guys. I have a question about how to make some extra money for my bankroll to get started with my affiliate marketing. I don't want to do it small time, I would rather move up to the big leagues but I think I need more funds to start. I have been looking around online and haven't come up with anything that looks decent. I did find one thing and didn't know where to post it, so here it is. I found a site that seems like they are good and like I could make some money. I wanted some opinions on it first before I jump in. It's called liveresell.com and if any of you have used them before, please share your opinions. Thanks! :)

"Double your money in minutes!" and "Practice on a live demo account!" are two major red flags for me. First of all, there simply is not a website or program that is going to allow you to start profiting in just a few minutes. Second, these demo accounts are the biggest give-away that its a scam - they reel you in my allowing you to see "real" money being made in front of your eyes, and then as soon as you deposit actual money, nothing is the same.

Unfortunately these scams are rather successful because they base it off of an idea that actually sounds legitimate. You mentioned affiliate marketing - but I don't even see how this site would be affiliate marketing, it looks like they want you to buy images and let the site resell them for double the price. If you want to actual do affiliate marketing, you'll have to start a website.

Thanks for the reply Swordude! I appreciate your input on this. I am trying to get into affiliate marketing and I needed some starter cash, that why I was looking into that site. It seems like a good start for me. The fact that the viability of the business is based on real products(pictures) to be sold is what makes me believe in it.

I see that you have a link below your posts offering your services, how can I do that? Do I have to be a member here for a while?

I agree with swordude that really looks like a scamming page to me, it has all the signs bad website design, not enough information it's really bulky looking.

The fact that you would even look at them makes me wonder why anyone would trust the business you want to promote. People will do their due diligence and find that your business does not have a solid foundation - and that you look for quick fixes.

Interesting that the domain was for sale here 5 years ago.

Oh, and when it comes to money, never trust a site with whois privacy. If they don't want to be identified then you probably won't like who they are.

Good to see you got sound advice over at http://forums.babypips.com/melting-pot/59043-i-need-some-good-advice.html

Is it something a newbie can do right away? Do I set up a website for it and then sell their products?

ClickBank is really easy to get started with, go to ClickBank's website and click on the marketplace, then pick a category you're interested in - from there, find a product that looks good. The next step is to build a site around that category and then advertise that product with your own personal referral link. For everyone that purchases the product via your link, you'll receive a share of the profit.

As for my services, I do article writing and video production, and if you have experience or interest in that type of stuff you should head over to the Content Creation forum here on DP. The link is: https://forums.digitalpoint.com/forums/services.60/ and there's a few sub-forums for each area of content. I think you need 25 posts and 3 likes to start a thread, but for now you could just watch threads where people are looking for writers/designers and contact them about working.

Thank you! I am a fairly good writer and have been doing some ghostwriting for people already so that would fit me very well. I will still sign up with clickbank as well, no point in not trying to make more money. You seem like you know a lot of people on the forum, is there anyone that can walk me through the clickbank process? It sounds easy enough to do, but I would like to succeed at it and wouldn't mind paying a tutor of sorts.

I know Web Focus LLC offers consulting services on how to get started with clickbank. They gave me some really good advice and instructions on how to start selling some high grav clickbank products. There are some clickbank secrets that every seller should know.

From the looks of the site, it is just your typical rip you off scam site. Stay clear buddy. and as stated earlier Clickbank is a legitimate free way to create some income. you just have to be consistent and spend as much time possible advertising be it free (which is slower) or paid (which is faster).
If you need any help PM and i'd be glad to help you out.

It's pretty basic, after setting up your account information, you'd head over to the Marketplace again. Once you find the product you want to affiliate with, click "Promote" and then you can get your affiliate link - which can be placed literally anywhere, but finding the best way to implement on your site is the tricky part. Other then that, you can set up direct deposit with ClickBank or receive checks in the mail, and if you earn over $600 you have to work it out in your taxes as well.

Feel free to drop me a PM if you have any questions about anything either!

Thanks for that information. It does sound easy when you put it like that. If I have any questions, I'll be sure to ask.
