How Do You Choose a Good Classifieds Script?

    How do you guys choose a good classifieds script? So far I am looking
    at the following scripts, feel free to chip in at any time....

    OxyClassifieds - I have heard from more then one user that it is the best
    classifieds script, however; the script is encoded, it does not support
    mobile even though people are using mobile more and more for online....
    The price is not too bad at $250, but I do not like the feeling of being
    trapped if I should need to expand one day, but can not because the
    main functions of the script is encoded; It does not seem OXY is not doing
    much as there have been no new updates since last year....

    AlmondSoft - not sure what to say, appears to have a pretty good feature list.
    It seems to come mobile ready (I think) and the script is not encoded....The
    price is a bit more at $400 (ultimate edition) I have visited most of the sites
    on almondsoft that use their script, and most if not all of their templates suck!
    It is hard for me to get a good scope of the script if all i see is sucky design....

    I guess I can get past both of the bad design on both scripts for a moment...
    first step is choosing the right classified script that will work best....

    What do you guys think...?

    If i had to choose, i would look for the decent design, responsive is a must element and regular updates from the developer. Maybe you can give this easy classified script a visit? :)

    I think I will just go with Geo...
    Its not really my favorite as I find it very complex....
    but since I already have a lic for it, then I will just stick
    with that, its probably far more advanced then most
    classifieds out there, and probably more advanced then oxy.

    Check out osclass.org . What makes this one awesome is that its free ,Its open source ,Its fully customize-able and has a great community. This project is a fantastic way to validate whatever classified idea you have without paying for anything while having full control arent like OXY and Noah.
