I am still struggling and keeping learning about this forum and want to try to have link sales business. Instead of selling links, how do i get good quality backlinks from other sites? Thanks :)

I got a F*CKLOAD of high quality links when i released a piece of free software on my website, it took 5 months before it took off though, and it might not apply to every niche. but here is a blog post i wrote about it.

There are many ways, but mostly if you have a valuable resource that is linkable - it can be articles, ebooks, infographics... basically anything that you are offering for free and has a great value - people will link to it.

You can get people's attention to your resource by various methods like - press release, guest posts, contacting bloggers and giving them free stuff etc.

    cheers,

Guest Posting is definitely a great way to obtain relevant, quality links. I would definitely give that a try, as it will likely cost less than buying backlinks or using a private blog network.

Might as well grab a piece of back link software and see where competitor's links come from to get more ideas..
But the easiest way really is to give it some time, come up with an awesome idea for link bait piece and links will flow naturally.

Google has made it even easy for all webmaster to get free quality links from reputable websites by social media and guest post, content etc... but it also increase risk of getting black hat links which are not relevant or forced back link. All you to have to do is to go for quality must check the portal you are linking your brand should have relevant content and regularly updated..
if it was useful or waste do leave comment

Content based backlinks are going to work for you. Guest blogging is a great way of getting backlinks from authoritative websites related to your niche. Also, focus on getting good backlinks from article directories related to your niche.

Guest posts on high pr blogs works well for me, because mostly other bloggers crawl the content from the top blogs, you can call it as content syndication as well.

If you take a real good look at the post below the OP, that's a great way to get good quality back links. Post quality content with a link back. It doesn't always necessarily have to be on a forum.

(Sometimes, the old methods still work.)

Acquiring links that look "organic" and 100% natural to Google has become a very, very arduous task. Why? Because technically anything you do yourself to acquire links is against Google's rules and is an attempt to manipulate search engines. That's why writing articles and creating blog posts for high quality and relevant sites do very little anymore. Press releases are also pretty much done.
    .
What you want to do is imagine what a natural link might look like if a high quality site were to create one about your site. Then contact the site owner and try to make it happen. Each time you acquire a link it should look different, be surrounded by different content, and should use different anchor text (and sometimes just your url as the anchor text). In other words, it should look like the owner of that site did it all on his/her own (without any of your input).

Of course these kinds of links are way harder to acquire then almost any other type of link.

Of course if you can offer something free, come up with something that will go viral, or create some so amazing that other webmasters just have to link to you, that would be a lot easier. Unfortunately, doing that right there is even tougher. It's just like saying, "come up with a great idea like Youtube or Instagram and people will automatically link to you." Now wouldn't that be nice!!!

I would no longer recommend commenting on dofollow blogs as a way to do SEO. Google will either ignore them, or possibly even punish your site for spamming. For those people who still think that Google doesn't punish sites for bad links, you need to read some of the horror stories on Google Webmaster forums. There are a lot of sites that got hit hard as a result of the last few Penguin updates.

But the benefit of two-way linking that you describe is diminishing :|

Best not to waste your time with that I reckon.

Hi haryoko.hardjo - a great way is to reverse engineer your competitors.

Find out all the backlinks of your top 10 competitors for a keyword you are chasing. Sort them into PR descending and identify the top Page Rank sites.

Identify the ones you can get backlinks from. Eg a forum? Join it and make a few posts then drop a BL. :)

High PR blog? Keep on top of the posts and then post a decent resonse and drop a link.

How to find the BL from the Google top ten?

    Best is ahrefs
    Second: Majestic SEO
    Third: SEO Spyglass.

Go spy -and hijack your competition's links!

    It's cool: it's quick: it's smart.
