How to get a "recent post" section on website?

If you look at my website:
    www.101baseballnews.com
You'll see I have sections like "National League" "American League" "World Series".. etc..

These are all "labels". But I would like to have a section where it's just the most recent post on the website. It doesn't matter what label it is, it'd be on the top and look like all the other sections, but just be labeled 'recent'.

    Help?

There is some scripting and coding you need for that. Googled it for you. Here is a tutorial (not mine) mybloggerlab.com/2013/09/how-to-display-recent-posts-in-blogger.html

Looks like you already figured it out unless I'm mistaken. Did you still need help? (I see a recent posts widget on your site)

Yeah, it's on the side bar.. but I want it on the front page. Just like American League is. The same format and everything.
