    99% of directories have become worthless for SEO. Only Yahoo!, DMOZ, and a few other long-haulers remain worth submitting to.

    You're *nearly* right. The only thing you've missed is niche-specific directories with reviewed submissions, the highest quality of these are still worthwhile and pass legitimate juice.

    in your opinion what is the best way for building backlink
    is the link pyramids and so on by senuke is effective

    Maybe there are about 2-3 out of 1000 web directories that are still helpful for SEO! Just be sure to add to PR5-6+ and NICHE directories! Don't forget that you should avoid AUTO approval directories!!! :)

    ^^ Guyz, he'z looking for Article and Blog Directories not Directory listing. Duh!!
    BTW OP No one going to share you with his/her AA list. If you have Scrapebox then i can share you some of my Article & Blog Footprints.
