which type of programming is better now?

i want to be programmer
whats is your opinion about it ?
which types of programming is better now? win or web ?
if your answer is web thene php or asp.net?
and if your answer is win c# or ....

 

I would like to suggest PHP is best programming language because it is easy to learn and understand. It is open source, completely free of cost, more security, easy to identity bugs, and more faster.

 

PHP would be a good starting point

• Loads of online tutorials, how-tos and guides
• Stable and widely used Frameworks and CMSs available for you to roll out apps in no time
• Can make a decent income being a PHP developer

i checked job finder websites and almost them looking for web developer so i think web development is better than win for me

 

Php is the best programming language because i am also php programmer. It's easy to learn and it solves difficult problems very easly.

 

If you want to do the web programming then go for php or ROR.......... if you want to do Freelancing then php has the best jobs and payment. If you are looking to work for the big giants companies then in these days you will focus on the ROR. Desktop scope is good for enterprise level applications. Most of them are already build but still a lot of work is going on. For Desktop you should use Java as it is open source and multi platform. Second C# is the copy of java if you know one then you know already other and vice versa.

 

I love c++ to be honest man...I started with it and I enjoy c# aswell but c++ is always my go to source for anything if it can be. But I agree with Kourang if you want to do freelance PHP is where it is at.

 

For web programming, learn PHP.
For desktop applications, learn C or something more simple such as BASIC.
You cannot compare web programming to desktop programming, they cannot replace each other, at least yet...
