Sorry. Since I am a layman, I didn't know how to correctly frame my question. But it's regarding the backlinks. There are some forums, which allow to create links in forum posts, linking them back to our websites. But a large number of them don't allow that, as they call it marketing, which is not allowed. However, every profile allows you to put your website address while filling up the profile. I wish to know that on forums, which do not allow putting links in forum posts, does webaddress in profile, also considered as a backlink to your website? Please advise me. Also let me know, if my question is not clear. I will try and reframe it.
Yes, a link within a forum profile is still classed as a backlink, although these are sometimes nofollowed and Google has somewhat devalued the effectiveness of profile links in the last 18 months. WebDev
Yes they are Back Links ! in my view try warriorforum.com you can get back links with the help of free signature.
Link from forum profile will be consider as back link but Google has reduced its value but if you have signature link on forums will help to generate some traffic
Thanks a lot to all the expert who invested time and efforts to answer my query. Though, I am not stuck with another 'BIG' problem, this problem, however, seems to be solved. Thanks.
Hi Isha I have already posted my BIG problem. The link is: https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/my-adsense-is-blocked-please-help.2686799/ Please see if you can help. Thanks.
Signature anchor text would also helpful in the generation of backlinks for a website. We may put our link as anchor text on each forum websites.
Forums that allows to put links in profile is count as a back-link. No matter if the link is no-follow. It still gives you a benefit.
