Just meant did you purchase your SSL cert from? Did you buy from your hosting company and did they help set it up to use with facebook apps? I want to run multiple landing pages and use mailchimp opt in box integrated with image in landing page. From everything I have read, lots of errors are starting to show up with browsers upgrading and now required secured (https) url in landing pages for FB. I had used thunderpenny static html app in past but it became too buggy and decided its probably time to just get ssl cert and host myself but don't want to spend ton on that.

I'm using godaddy SSL's. If you use a coupon you can get them for about $9.

Most of time VeriSign or GeoTrust.
No, Hosting company not going to setup for you! You get encrypted code while installing SSL and it's highly confidential information - do you really think it's good idea, to share with others?
I've mostly deals with cloud server Azure or HP ( windows base ).

Try 1&1 hosting, they will help you to setup your SSL ( actually, user-friendly SSL installation system ).

I want to have about 3 landing pages: 1) email opt in tab 2) product page tab 3) giveaway tab. Does this mean I need to purchase three separate SSL certs?

No, only one for domain. if you're using sub domain for each pages then purchase wildcard SSL ( EV not supported ).
