No PR Update This Year

Yes, i see that also, i think every body know this now.. NO PR update before 2014..

I just remembered seeing the little cartoon you on here a few times.

 

Awesome Shame though that there won't be a PR update until 2014.

 

Well there's only 8 weeks left of this year so maybe not be much longer?

 

Keep in mind we have already been waiting for months

 

I think it is may be in december
new year - new suprise gift for webmasters

 

Do you work for google and have inside knowledge??..or are you just basing it on some dream you had, or just making up crap for the sake of it???

Google Webmasters released a video yesterday discussing this. They feel like because new versions of internet explorer don't have a PR toolbar and google chrome does not have one either that they see PR less and less valuable. Matt said that they plan on seeing this eventually just go away. So that kind of sucks on a developers end and I think thinking only on the enduser side of things is not a smart way to go.

so may be pagerank update beacuse nobody influence pagerank (with toolbar cheats)
but only this is only idea

Well, the last Matts messages are very confusing for me. I am not surprised Matt would be suprised if PR update is in this year - I expected it too.

But in videos Matt still talk about system of site content and backlinks like 10 years ago, when backlins had no monetizing value. I am afraid, strong players are becoming more stronger and Google fights only with spammers.

 

Going forward it seems Google will get rid of page rank update to avoid people buying it to sell links. This is the reason they are not updating as regulary as it used to be.

 

You can always use opensite explorer and ahrefs to see the number of links a site has and to some degree assign a value of them

 

Google is concentrating more on their Algorithmic updates than PR Updates.

 

yeah their algorithm is giving them full hands of work

 

Google won't update PR again. I think they want to implement new ranking GR which will include many factors not only dofollow backlink as it was for PR. So be prepared.

 

i think they still used PR metric.. in recent video release by Matt.. he still stated the important of PR... but maybe the update is not going to be regularly.. maybe yearly update.. just "maybe"

 

When does the second page rank will update .This is the question of all the webmaster round the world.But Recently i came to know that there is no page rank update in 2013, the next page rank will be update early in 2014. These are the words of Matt Cutts. (Google Spam Team Head)
