    Hi Guys.

I need some expert knowledge on this. I have a PR5 domain which is a .net domain. Somehow I got the chance to grab the .com version as well, .com domain has PR0. So should I use .com to .net redirection?? Is it safe?? Can it have a bad impact on PR of .net domain??

I am looking for an answer to my query.

    Regards
    PC

301 redirect the .com to the .net and you'll be fine.

When redirecting, the previous backlinks pointing to the .net domain will still pass about 80% of the PR power, so if you're PageRank in the high range of 5 like 5.5+ internally which you can't quite figure, you will keep the same PR otherwise, it will drop to 4 unless you obtain more backlinks pointing to the .com domain.

BTW, make sure the .COM domain has no penalty first and always use the URL Change tool in Google WMT's along with the 301 redirection.

Keep us posted how it ends when then new PR tables are exported to the public.

You can redirect, but no need to redirect as the PR get update with the next update..so enjoy with it! ;)

Search Bliss is correct, just use 301.
