    Google page rank is one of the major ranking factors for a website. A website with a PR 2 could be found on the first page of search results while a website with a PR 6 for the same keyword may appear on the second page of search results

    Page Rank shows overall value strength of your website, but is nod directly linked to SERP... a website without page rank can also rank higher.

    However, page rank is useful when you are going to buy or sell links.

    Page rank is still part of Google algorithm and indicate website importance and authentication. If your website has good PR with continuous SEO campaign your site deserves to rank in top SERP.

    Higher page rank indicates your site has credibility with Google. Though Google won't say how much it uses page rank when determining the value of a page for search engine position. For sure, if you are selling advertisements on your blog or site, you will need higher page rank to attract advertisers.

    Page rank isn't really important, don't focus on it. Focus more on creating viral content and sharing it on social media, so that you attract backlinks naturally. Trust me, stop worrying about pagerank.

    Agree with @SERPpoint and @ninjamtlt1 . PageRank does not reflect SERP rankings. It has been more than 7 months there has been no PR update from Google. So better focus on other SEO tactics.

    Page rank is no longer as vital as it’s used to be, but still it gives a clear idea of a high quality website to a certain point. Page rank values 0 to 10 determine a web page’s weightage, authority and consistency on the web as per Google. Page rank not directly affects a website’s ranking.

    Importance of Page rank is decreasing day by day from Google's view. Whereas good content can get you lots of traffic which is an asset for any website rather than just Page rank

    It's not important... It's used if only you would like to sell your website, sell links or link exchange. Otherwise, you should work on SEO in order to get a better ranking! :)
