    It's about time, I just hate seeing those spam comments on "top comments" saying how I can win free ipads by completing a bunch of bogus surveys.

    Pretty great if you ask me. I am an avid YouTube user and I hate it when some of my favorite channels get spammed with these types of comments. It's even worse when they manage to fill the top comments section. It's a plague..

    I agree. Spam makes it tough for those of us who do things honestly. But I also think Google has other motives in this. Look at what they've done with Gmail. We have seperate tabs now in the Inbox, but in turn Google pushes its own ads harder than ever.
