    digitalpoint, there's a lamo way for people getting likes. They make posts to other people's profiles saying something like: "hey, I am following you!", "great posts", "you've got a nice looking site", etc. and they can get easy likes without ever really contributing to DP. The thing is I almost got suckered in just a moment ago. Somebody posted something to my profile, so I liked it, then it dawned on me that the person was just harvesting likes, so I unliked it.

    Profile likes don't count towards becoming an established member, so... {shrug}

    Ok, good to know. I thought if it appeared as a like in another person's profile it was counted. Because it does appear, but I guess somehow it's not counted.
