Hi I have one doubt in on page optimization, how much Keyword density can we use per page if any one have good knowledge in this area please explain me clearly. I need more information about this.
A good rule of thumb is to use 2-3% density for keyword optimization. Be sure to include LSI in your content as well.
LSI means 'Latent semantic indexing' and are different words in the same context and having similar meaning.
LSI are basically synonyms...google looks for them, if you vary your keywords by synonyms you can establish authority
No more than 2% of a web page’s words as per Google’s stipulations, that should be the keyword. Anything above that will be considered spam. Although, Yahoo and MSN Search permits as high as 5% keyword density for SEO. Therefore, hitting a sweet spot of between 2% and 5% keyword density is probably your best bet.
I do not like to go above 5% per page. However, I keep it in between 1-3% on an average page/post/article.
Google’s requirements say that no more than 2% of a web page’s words should be the keyword. Any more than that will be considered spam. However, Yahoo and MSN Search will permit as high as 5% keyword density for SEO. Therefore, hitting a sweet spot of between 2% and 2.5% keyword density is probably your best bet.
Many seo experts suggest that keyword density should be between 2-3% but by my experiment i would suggest that it should not exceed 5% .
