What if i delete some of my posts?

I have a website. I didn't do all things right. So i'm wishing to delete some of my website's posts and to start brand new. But Google indexed them. So if i delete some pages will it affect google's policies? I applied for Adsense, Will it affect the Application?

There are some backlinks to the (will be) deleted pages. What will be of them?

Google always like fresh good content. So you can start without any problem.

if i delete some pages will it affect google's policies? - No it will not affect Google policy. It also do not effect in Adsense.

But one thing to remember, Remove URLs from google search result after delete your old post (specially when you planing to a fresh start.)

Use Webmaster tool (Webmaster Tools's Dashboard > Google Index > Remove URLs > Create a new removal request) to remove URL from google search engine.

In case of worrying about search engines not find a page you want to create 301 redirect. that will redirect all pages not found onto the new URL destination.

Instead of taking off the URL , I would suggest redirect that to you new page, if the content is related, else redirect to your blog home.
You would have gained some authority and backlinks on that page. Why do you want to let it go. Retain it by a redirect.

You can delete those crappy posts without worry. Google may consider you in the next algorithm updates.

No problem at all. I personally delete a lot of post because Google always likes fresh contents. No problem at all if you delete your old content.
    Thanks

Of course you are free to do whatever you want with your posts, it's your website.

Google won't penalize you in any way.
