Contest $60 Logo Contest

    Have run a number of successful contests under the old system, but this is my first since all that history was obsoleted. I have a need for a logo for this company:
    Champion Painting, LLC
    the domain name, championpaintingllc.com has been obtained but no website is up yet. We are planning to use this stock photo as the basis for the home page and would like the logo to go well with the graphic.

    The above picture will dominate the home page and the theme will revolve around this company being the "champions" of painting contractors. Right now, I am thinking that the rest of the design of the website will be mostly black lines and white background, but nothing is finallized. I would like the logo to be a vector graphic, but otherwise am open to ideas as to what will work with this.

    Contest ends this Friday the 13th at 3:00pm EST (NY) in the US.

    I will be happy to answer questions, etc.., as the contest proceeds. Thanks.

    I have been asked for additional input by some submitters via PM and I thought that it might be helpful to share this comment:

    My client wants to be seen as a high quality commercial painter who is "cool" and even a bit "edgy." Note the tone of the main image of the web page: a "rock star" housepainter. In order that the logo complement the image, it probably should incorporate the one or more of the same or very complementary colors. For example, my client envisions providing his workers with T-shirts with the logo over the front pocket and the image on the back. Of course, they will have to work well on the website, too.
