Is search engine giving any value for nofollow backlink

The nofollow link attribute only stops the passing of useless toolbar PR. It is still a link that will be followed (spidered). It's a waste of time trying to "find or build links", and more of a waste when they must be "do follow (by the way, there is NO dofollow link attribute). The only "backlinks" worth having are the ones that are added to websites by the website owners who want to provide their users with your content without your knowledge (organic backlinks).

 

It was mentioned above that if there are no no-follow links, it seems suspicious, and you will be penalized. It's better to have more no-follow links than follow.
High qulity follow backlinks are crucial factors in website promotion. For instance, paid links with good metrics will bring positive results, but you should "surround them" by no-follow links and keep in mind that likbuiding should look natural.

 

I hope Google Webmaster is there if you want your website get to be indexed instead of G+

 

Nofollow is not valuable foe Google backlink it will just ignore the link and will not get deeper into crawling and no link juice is passed.

 

Building dofollow links only is suspicious to Google, thats why we need to build nofollow links too, this way our backlinks would look natural.

Anyway, today SEO is all about user friendly activities, creating something qualitative.

But if the link in high PR then he is using in good Alexa ranking and drive some traffic.

 

there was a study by searchmetrcis that revealed that there was some correlation between nofollow links and high search engines ranking.

 

If you have a total of 100 back-links out of which 85 is do-follow and 15 no follow.
It doesn't looks natural. actually this is not possible untill and unless you have got those links unethically.
Do-follow links brings direct traffic so definitely has a role to play though that role may not be a direct role.

 

Nofollow link is also beneficial for seo. If you use nofollow and dofollow link in a ration 20:80.It will increase you serp ranking. So build nofollow link as well as dofollow.

 

Where do people get this sort of nonsense from? Nofollow does NOT help in the SERPS and MOZ's DA and PA are NOT used by the search engines for ranking purposes. This is why I love DP so much ...I hope all my competitors are here getting their SEO advice!

 

Where does this 80:20 bullshit come from? Given that only 1-2% of all links are nofollow, then 80:20 is NOT natural. You guys are just making this stuff up and have no idea what you are talking about.

 

While nofollow'd links won't pass any pagerank themselves, nofollow links should be a part of your link building strategy as you're aiming to build a link profile that appears as natural as possible - and this would include both follow and nofollow links.

If you're only building follow, you may run into issues further down the line with the big G.

No follow links will have no real and direct influence in increase your Page Rank or Rank in Google
But it indirectly helps you in making your brand a stronger brand by providing you more
exposure , direct traffic and also more exposure in various search and ranking engines other than google.

The 20:80 ratio is just a hoax!
The ratio of natural dofollow link : nofollow links varies niche to niche.
For example : A website related to Mathematics or Science niche might get very few nofollow links because webmasters in this niche are not much concerned about leaking their link juice. But a website related to SEO might get a lot of nofollow links.

All links do-follow and no-follow are taken into account, but following the latest Google updates it's better to add no-follow attributes to links especially in footer space.
