Good question. I was wondering this as well! The one thing that is different is the price you pay for your ad. Much higher on flippa and I think that is why more people sell lower priced items here? I hope someone has more insights on this

On flippa you will be paying fees for listing, for bumping
    On DP it is free
Also on flippa sell only if you have enough proof of earning else you will end up wasting money and unable to sell site

DP is really good, i got many customers from DP who are happy buying my products, i actually need one like to post offers in DP offers section but not getting it. Anyways my advice DP is right choice for selling almost anything.

Ha*ha!....very smooth, here you are hinting at getting a like but not actually asking for one, so the mods will leave you alone. That was so smooth I *almost* gave you a like for your effort.
Anyway to topic, DP offers a free service while Flippa does not, so the answer to the OP's query is fairly obvious.

In theory, Flippa is a good idea, due to verification of things like Adsense earnings. However, the number of times I looked at buying a site and owners kept giving excuses about why they wouldn't/couldn't verify their earnings through Flippa's tools. Too many people with multiple accounts bidding on their own sites (or their friends/family). As someone else mentioned, sites with genuine earnings will sell. Probably partly due to fees, sites can sell for a bit more there, but to get the most you want long-term verifiable earnings (e.g. 12 months rather than the 1-2 months many try to sell based on). If your site has little revenue or low-interest niche, DP might be a better place.

If it's a quality site with good, established revenues flippa is the way to go. But be sure to take the time to make a proper listing and add all the screenshots and proofs. For a smaller site it's not worth the fees, so just list on DP.

The main reason why people fail to get any interest on flippa for their site is simply because they don't take the time and effort to learn to how to this properly or have unreasonable expectations.

If your selling sites that have pretty much no value and are cheap, then digital point. But if your site could be sold for more than 1000, flippa for sure.

I agree.... Also on DP, there is no point using the auction style listing... This site is a "Forum", it's not a selling website like eBay or Flippa. As new sites get added, your site gets pushed down the list... This means less and less people actually see it over time.

The most crucial point when selling on auction is the last couple hours before the bidding ends. But if your site is on Page 6 of DP's selling page then who is going to see it....

It's worth listing your site here for free to try and gauge how much interest you will get, but if you think it's worth more than $1,000 then definitely head to flippa.
