Would you spend $29 to track unlimited keywords on WordPress sites forever?

So there used to be a free rankings tracker WordPress plugin on the market, but it disappeared 18 months ago when companies realized they could charge people money every month to track rankings. With services like SERPFox and Majestic and aHrefs costing $25/month or more to track a realistic number of keywords, would people be interested in a premium plugin that tracks unlimited keywords for a onetime fee of maybe $29 or $39??

This is not some kind of fake sales thread as I don't have anything to sell, but am thinking of having my developer/programmer update this old one to get it working again. Would love to know if this is something people would be interested in given how much money people are spending on rankings trackers every month.

No I'm only interested in rank tracking software that has the funding to stay current and also offers API for custom reporting skins for private clients. Have you ever wondered why the developer of the old plugin gave it up? maybe too many changes were needed constantly to keep it working and thus not profitable to run with a one time fee. Even RankTracker which used to have a $250 one time fee now has a $20/month extra fee for updates. Not to mention theres the cost of proxies to scrape rankings and server power to deliver results. It just doesnt seem feasible on a $29 one time cost. I personally recommend a web hosted solution like Microsite masters

What's the purpose of it being a WordPress plug-in exactly?

You may want to look at the one we have on this site (used by ~100,000 people), and was a big part of why this forum was started (needed a support venue)...
