    Hi everybody,

I'm looking for an alternative for mailchimp for my email list.

What other providers have a free plan for newbies?

Thank you in advance for your help.

starter mailerchimp , once you grow out of it then do the mailing yourself with new dedicated mailing servers.. My mailing is over 250k, is way cheaper to do it yourself

Live wire is a free service. I know someone who uses it and he is finding it good. I use Aweber but they are expensive when you list starts to grow.

Free Email Marketing do have limitation , while you still need to paid it when your database is grow, you need specific reports, need special tools to get easy to create your email marketing and so on .

Beside mailchimp, you can try Aweber, Ebuzzzz, icontact and benchmarkemail .

I like MailChimp. Their service is free up to 2000 subscribers. Sad thing is they have something against the free service being used for affiliate marketing. I use Aweber and their service and customer support are great. I heard LiveWire is good but haven't tried them.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

That is not correct. I contacted MailChimp about that issue. They do not want you attempting to use their service without going through your own website. In other words, if you create a website where you review affiliate products and give advice, you can use their service.

If you are going to use their service to send people directly to affiliate links, then you are violating their terms of service on the free account. Of course, you were planning to take them through a warm-up page on your site, right?

Hi, I would like own the best email marketing script, so that you do email marketing easily and effectively. It is the one time investment. There are many email marketing software available in the market & I would suggest to try AJ Email Marketer - Email Marketing Software to do easy and effective email marketing.

Trying to read their sales page scares the heck out of me. I have to assume they are not native English speakers.

Save yourself the hassle, just use getresponse and aweber, then have awesome support.
Dont waste time on choosing an auto-responder.
Your focus should be on driving traffic and converting leads!

    Howard is right!

When it comes to choosing an auto responder -- you should not mess around, because your list will be where 99% of your income comes from. If you risk your earnings with a cheap or free service then you will be regretting it later on in the future.

I would simply spend the money and get aweber which is like 19 dollars a month at most.

There are a lot of obstacles with self-hosted scripts, such as 1) Where to find a good hosting provider that will let you mail without problems 2) Keeping your domains off of the blacklists and getting delivered and of course 3) Installation and maintenance of the script, databases, and using suppression lists etc.

Aweber is a fine solution, but be prepared to build your list with double optin confirmation. They do allow some single optin but once you go big and get complaints, they lock your account into double optin only - so best to plan for that from the start.

GetResponse was my first autoresponder, and one day they simply deleted my account with all my data, claiming spam complaints. That didn't feel very fair to me, so I've never liked them since. But I know lots of other people love GR so whatever on that one I guess.

IContact was similar to GetResponse, they aren't especially friendly and shut me down when I started doing solo ads, so go figure. Aweber would be my best recommendation.

I find Awber is the best autoresponder company they have excellent tech support Their prices are resonable . I was with I Contact whose tech support is hopeless even in the best of times , If you go over you prepair number of emails Your sending privlages are suspended until you upgrade They don't like email adress contaning AOL, Gmail plus afew others . They have some weird Spam tracking and will shut you down for no aparent reason.
