Any Advice how to increase Backlinks?

I got a football website but i am really missing out visitors on my site. I have known that Backlinks help a lot to increase visitor? But i have not much idea about link building. Can anyone refer me to some points? or any list of dofollow blogs?

What are other useful ways to increase visitors? Social Bookmarking or Search?
I want to do them myself for free.

 

Why not visit some sports forums and begin contributing there? Visit other blogs in the same niche as yours and begin interacting with them. You can also try blog communities like BlogEngage, BizSugar and Triberr.

Social Adr is a great bookmarking tool that allows you to sign up for free. You can start using that to have people bookmark your site. Hope this helps.

 

Use directories, social book marking, articles, bog comments, news submissions etc. but use all methods according to Google guidelines.

 

Do forums comments, blog comments and guest post... Those all thing increase backlinks.

Facebook, twitter etc is your good source of traffic for this niche. By the way what countries you are targeting?

 

Forget about link building for SEO. Focus on links that will drive targeted traffic. It kills two birds with one stone. It will increase organic traffic and make you less reliant on google since you will bet getting more referral traffic.

 

Guest posts are really a great and effective way to increase back-links.......and In my view, no need to worry about back-links. try to provide more user-informative content to your visitors.

 

As per my opinion forum posting and blog commenting is one of the best and most reliable methods.

A good start is participating in forums preferable in your niche specific topics. At initial stage, some forums (like daniweb) only allows posting links in review sections only. So you can get your site reviewed as well as gain some direct traffic from these kind of sections.

Then I would see who your competitors are and analyze their websites with some back link tool. Then I'd just try to copy their SEO behavior.

Web and Article directories should work well for your website. Just add UNIQUE content often and use Social Media for instant traffic and Social Bookmarking sites to get a few good backlinks!

 

If you're up for it, it's definitely worth it to build a private high PR blog network for your site. That's what I've been doing lately and it works very well. It would only be worth it if IMO if you're building a long term authority site that will you plan to monetize. However, this is not free, but as I said, it does work.
