I am new client of moneybookers and last week I have been withdrawn something 9000 INR from moneybookers wallet to my bank.Today I can see,I only received something 7000 INR on my bank!!!!

So what happened to last 2000 Inr ammount? Is that stolen by moneybookers company or bank or indian govt or what?

That is moneybookers at least. Moneybookers is a respected reputed company and they don't charge more than they say they would.

Its probably the tax by Indian banks to receive a wire transfer. And some fee from Moneybookers side as well. Total around Rs.2K in your case.

    Hey,

I saw something that talked about the fact that moneybookers takes 3.9% + 56 cents for certain people, if they are making a profit online. I read it here odesk.com/community/node/22661.

I looked into it because they were also charging me big fees and I wanted to know why.

I don't think there is any realit among these rumors. I am using Moneybooker from more than 2 years and have never found any issue which has cause problem for me never in their fee which is no doubt very low, and also in payment sending time. I always use moneybooker for withdrawing payment from Odesk and freelancers.

No it's not a scam site, but yes they charge more fees because their main currency is euro and when you do withdrawal they charge euro to dollar exchange fees then dollar to rupees exchange fees plus taxes etc.

Yes. They are scammers. They took INR.2K while transferring INR.8800. When I contact their support for the explanation, they never respond to it. They are real scammers, otherwise they should atleast respond to my tickets.

I've contacted their customer support twice in the last one week, but no reply. That is why I told before that they are real frauds.

if you withdraw less than 100$ then you'll receive full amount issued by moneybookers but if you withdraw $100+ then your bank charges additional 2k. Its swift charge. if you want to withdraw less than 3-400 its better to split less than 100 like 98$ and like this.

They haven't even replied to my 2 support tickets. I think if it is a reputed company, then they should give an answer to me. According to their website, they will answer within 24 hours, but they haven't answered within 1 week. So it is clear that this is a fraud company. I'll never trust them and I'm sure that it is taken by them.

Why did you chose INR in MB? Moneybookers/Skrill can't deposit in INR to your INR bank a/c.
Skrill is not fraud. I see no extra charges to withdraw USD in Skrill to my INR bank a/c. I only pay one fx conversion fee.

In some transactions it will take some extra money. I had withdrawn for more than 10 times to my account and once they took INR.2000. I contacted their customer service several times. But no response. So I asked them to close my account and they closed it.

So moneybookers/skrill is really a fraud company.

Skrill takes many days to respond. You could change your a/c currency.

I did withdraw around few lakhs INR from neteller few years ago. Imagine how much extra I paid. I didn't lose my temper.
