About 4 years experiences in the internet marketing and blogging, I have found 4 awesome ways to increase any type of blog or website.

1. Your post should be quality. This is the number one and only one easy way of increasing your site`s page rank. To make your post quality, write in depth information about that post. Having all the information with good looking of your blog or site will increase page rank fast. Have a proper English writing, grammar etc. in your post. Write in this way about 200 unique posts with at least 600 words to each post.

2. Submit your site or Blog on Google, Bing, Yahoo, DMOZ.

3. Do Guest Blogging which increases backlinks to your blog or site.

4. Comment on dofollow blogs without any spamming. Comment on those sites which have the boxes to insert your Name, email and blog or website address and then leave comment. Thank you.

 

Getting backlinks from wiki sites and web2.0 like hubpages, squidoo etc., can also help to improve pr.

This is not necessary anymore. All major search engines will find and crawl your site once it's online.

Other than that, I think your points are right on target.

 

I think, without search engine optimization and without proper posting, it takes very long time to have crawled on Google, Bing and DMOZ. There might be crawled. If we give trigger to them by submitting our sites in time to time, then they probably crawl our website. Thank you.

 

Apart from building links to your site for the sake of increasing page rank, traffic also plays very important role in increasing page rank, regular update of your site would also help.

I bought the domain MarketingGuard . com 4 days ago, I logged into Webmaster Tools, and added my sitemap and "Fetch As Google" -> Submit URL and linked pages

Google has now, 4 days later, already indexed my posts.

DMOZ is just a directory with a lot of broken links in my views, i stay away from it.

Well... First your article should be UNIQUE, not only quality! Then, submit ONLY to Search Engines will not do the trick!

You should submit to DIFFERENT websites including directories, forums, article directories, web2.0 sites, other blogs, etc.

Just be sure to use DIFFERENT keywords and DIFFERENT title and description when you submit your website (of course only UNIQUE content!)
