Any art courses for designers?

    Hi,

I'm a beginner we designer and still have troubles with at the artistic levels so I though I could use some art courses, searched Google and found nothing interesting in particular for design.

Have any of you guys took some art courses? online? Can I get to reach professional level without going to serious art course or art school?

Thank you in advance for answering some of my questions.
    Elyas.

actually, i am too...i am the new designer here, but i tried to get better and step by step i understand, i suggest that you better find some kind of book by on your own as long as i know art is can be achieved by different ways base on that person, because if i go to art course it cost a lot of money

If I am not wrong; you want to be creative in your work like the professional Graphics Designers. You want to get good designing skills, right? If that is the case, you need to do a lot of practice. Watch the tutorials and try to create the similar things. See what the other designers do, how do they come with the new ideas. You will learn a lot from just practicing, and at one point you will be good enough to create something from your own. If you are learning Photoshop, I would suggest reading the book "How to do everything with Photoshop", it is one of the best guide which I've read so far.

    Good Luck

I find one of the most important things in design is to be able to develop ideas quickly, and also to be able to communicate ideas quickly. Often these involve actually drawing and sketching, rather than using a computer.

Try a drawing course - a lot of fun, and you can build up your drawing confidence really quickly. It should help you in your idea development. Even something like life drawing could be useful, and it's a little bit different to sitting in front of a screen!

    Hope this helps.
