IMO all the techniques your name above are fine once you are careful about picking the sites that you are adding links on. What Google loves most of all is natural links on relevant high PR webpages. i.e. if you are running a kindle website then valid pr links (with low obl) on kindle forums, valid comments on kindle articles, valid articles on respectable article sites will all pay dividend. However, generating mass / spam / auto-approve forum posting / blog comments / articles on low quality sites will be of little or no benefit.

Not always you have to do it in right way . If you will post some crappy contents to articles or blog website then you will get penalized .
If you carefully And honestly work on your articles with your keywords and post them osn appropriate websites, then you won't have any problem with google. This process should be natural to honestly give your opinion and not to get backlinks for you.

All the above techniques are good to get organic traffic as long as you dont spam. You will need to select good websites for posting. After google's penguin update, it has become very strict while monitoring back links. If you try to get un-natural link you will definitely get hit by google. So Pick good sites, post quality content and get good traffic in return.
