Techniques to Increase Facebook Likes

A year back I was using a technique to increase FB likes on my page and it was working very well. I was posting few attractive posts on the pages of my niche and I got tons of likes in a day. In October 2012 Facebook changed few of its rules and became more strict and started banning pages for such activity. From then that technique died and so did my exponential likes growth.

So here I am requesting you all to give some ideas, Techniques or Tricks that you may be using to generate legitimate likes on your facebook page. These tricks can help many of us to learn all the ways to get real likes.

Please don't things that everyone already knows like " Post useful Information", "Put a like button on website" etc.
Kindly give some Hardcore tricks or techniques to generate real likes.

I have used such services in the Past and my personal experience is that on such websites people Play the Like>>Unlike game all the time. They are there for likes on their own page and most of them make fake accounts to like other pages to get the coins there.

So I believe this is not such a great Idea and Is complete waste of time

Use Facebook Ads. There are no white hat hardcore tricks, things are pretty simple - create a giveaway or a competition and Facebook Ads at the same time. That's it.

 

Try to do the following:


-make sure that you have Facebook button on your site

-posts at the dame time every day

-be proactive

-sometimes you can even ask for a like in appropriate moment

-like others posts and join in communications

How to get more likes?

1. Focus on content - there is no alternative to quality content. Post stuff that you like reading as a user.

2. Photos and Videos - post a lot of videos and photos. There is no better way than posting funny relvant pictures that users will enjoy watching.

3. Share - share other pages' content and they will return the favor. Social media is about sharing cool stuff.

You can always boost your posts too. Photos and videos get the most exposure. The more exposure you get, the more shares and likes. For some reason photos get shown in news feeds way more than regular statuses.

 

I have tried boosting posts, images and vidoes...It worked for that particular post but was not much effective for my page. But I see few pages growing rapidly. I was just wondering what are they doing for it.

I would like to suggest one thing- Choose some relative pages as your page in FB and then put some good and attractive comments for their service and put your page URL with that comment too..People will surely go to your page if they like your comment there..And also people may like your page too after visiting your page.

Dont you think that it will be considered as spamming by Admins and they can ban the page?

 

No...If your comments are valid as well beneficial and the page for what you are commenting must be related to your page.

 

A friend of mine received at least 1k likes just by posting as the page on groups related to the topic and by hosting a bunch of giveaways.
