I've been waiting 48 hours for @deathshadow to come tell me how I made the site slower and more bloated with the upgrade since he does that every major update. I hope he's okay and not in the hospital or something.
Honestly, only think that bugs me is it's not centered/using the whole screen. I'm assuming that's some form of advertising in a sidebar that's blocked or something. Otherwise, it's no better or worse than before. Still have to shove a ton of custom user.css at it to make it accessible without diving for the zoom every time.... which of course is why I'm still using Opera 12. Believe me, I've got far more wrath for Opera right now than anything you could pull here, what with them slapping the Opera logo on Chrome instead of releasing a version of OPERA with blink as the rendering engine. From what I saw, I wouldn't even call this an 'update' -- felt more like "messing with the skin for no reason" -- big deal.
Nope, there is no advertising in any sidebar. I'm glad you upgraded to a modern version of Opera that supports things like the SPDY protocol (which we use here underneath it all instead of traditional HTTP). I knew Opera switched to Google's forked WebKit engine (Blink), but didn't know they actually just slapped their name on Chrome. Although if I was going to slap my name on a browser, it would have been Chrome, so at least they didn't do something dumb like rebrand IE or Firefox. lol
I attempted to create a profile comment. When I did it kept telling me "You have to wait 30 seconds to perform this action". I tried 3 times then gave up. I've never had this issue before.
Looks great to me, except text size in userinfo part in posts. It's too small. Edit: Forum icons (read/unread) could also be better.
This morning I made 2 posts. As a rule it would appear instantly on the forum list. They have not appeared even though they are posted. This has not happened previously. P.S. Have logged in again to check, posts are now listed on forum list but it did take awhile.
Hey @digitalpoint Any chance of having a fixed-width(max-width now with responsive) either as a child style or a profile setting, something. Sorry if it's been mentioned before.
