Got almost $250 slashed from Adsense

    Hey guys,

    I'm just alitted curious as to why I got this much slashed from my account? My payout should be almost $800 instead it is around $550. Any idea as to why I mean this is a pretty harsh cut.

    How could we possibly know that? You need to contact AdSense.

    most obvious cases:
    1. click fraud
    2. you clicked on your own ads
    3. downfall in traffic on websites, your ads are running on
    4. multiple clicks from same IP (generally competitors do this to get your account banned)

    Adsense refunds the money to the advertisers if it feels there has been any kind of a suspicious activity from your account. That is why there is always a difference between estimated and finalized earnings. Try to avoid unethical activities as they might lead to your account being banned eventually.

    "unethical activities" It's not my fault my website is now appearing #1 for a term that is searched 250000 times a month. I've worked very hard to get the rankings I have now.

    Well if that is the case, I can only say its not your lucky month. Adsense does not cut such a big amount unless there is a major click fraud so I think you may contact them through the fourm.

    I don't know what google is doing this days. No Pagerank update, since 5 months. Shut down google reader and music service in India. And now with Adsense. Anyway contact the adsense support team.

    After finalizing the earning you get generally lower than what it shows in your account.
