Not Ranking well in USA

    Hi, Any Expert Can tell me. I have a Online clothing website from India. It is ranking well in India but not in USA. What should i do different for getting rank in USA. Keywords are in top 20 in USA but ranking is less as compare to india. So Please give me a right way. as i get rank in USA also.

    What domain extention does your site have? Is it a .in or similar by any chance? Or some other geo restricted ext?

    By using the word "restricted" however I will get attacked, but you likely get what I mean.

    Set USA as your targeted country in google webmaster tool. It will help you to get international visitors and increase your sell.

    USA market is highly competitive in SEO field as getting ranks here is tough process, but it can be achieved with contacting through experienced professionals in SEO or by visiting websites because they know what actually to be done to increase the traffic to the website as they use various techniques regarding SEO.

    I agree with Revelations-Decoder, while crawling SERp Google allow priority to generic extension rather than the country level. If your website has a generic extension then you might need to consider your keywords targeted and the your online marketing approach needs to be refurnished.

    There are geographically-marked keywords in your site's content (Indian dresses, etc.)
    Just create onpage optimization report and see how often those words are used in your content.
    Plus, if your website is hosted in India, this could be the reason, too.
    There is no guarantee that Google will trust you if you set the US as your geo target in Webmaster tool, because it's looking at other things (such as where you're hosted, what your content says, etc.)..
    I would host the website in the US, set the US as my geotarget and add US somewhere on the page (for example, "Delivery to any location in the US")
