Now my question is that can i do backlinking only on English website or i work only on Spanish websites. I was trying to find out the spanish website but failed kindly help me about that. You can. Just use the target kw's as your anchor and the rest of the content can remain in English. Personally I usually go for the approach of writing about something general that covers both my target keyword and target country, so that I can write e.g, "Skyscrapers (skyskrapa in Swedish) on the Stockholm area are built..." where the word "skyskrapa" would be my kw, anchor and the translation for the term used in the target country. Sure this might be a bit of an overkill, but at least the content will stay up for years to come in case Google & Co. start to crackdown this method. Maybe it would be nice to add that country-relevant backlinks might hold more juice (no proofs on this, just guessing?) so you really might want to opt for those in the first place.
Greg, of course you should try to get links from relevant sites, that is website in the same language. Just check competitors backlinks and see where your Spanish competitors take their links from, this will give you an idea about what Spanish-language backlink sources you can use.
Sure! I'm totally agree with SliceOfLife. But you must follow some activities like classifieds, directories to cover local traffic in related language.
